A farm where cows come first
At Jongenhoeve, our cows enjoy the best possible care. During the spring and summer months, they graze freely in lush green fields, and even in the barn, their comfort is a priority. Our cows relax on waterbeds, use soft brushes, and have access to a never-ending buffet of high-quality feed.
Fun fact: Many of our cows have a favorite spot in the barn, where they return after each milking session!
The art of cheese-making
The cheese-making process at Jongenhoeve never stops. Nearly every drop of milk is transformed into delicious Gouda farm cheese—except for the small amount we enjoy in our coffee! On busy days, we even make cheese up to three times a day.
Did you know that producing just one kilogram of cheese requires ten liters of milk? This dedication to craftsmanship results in cheese with an exceptional taste and texture, made with pure, raw ingredients.

A visit to Kaasboerderij Jongenhoeve is not complete without tasting our cheese. Our farm shop offers a wide variety, from young to extra aged, as well as more than ten different herb-infused flavors. Every piece of cheese is hand-cut to your preference and vacuum-sealed for freshness.
